Former attorney’s sex offender case reset
The criminal case against former attorney Kent
Booher has been reset.
Booher was on last Tuesday’s Roane County General
Sessions Court docket for charges of violation of the sexual
offender registry and solicitation of a minor.
The case against him was rescheduled to Aug. 20.
Booher’s days as an attorney ended because of sex
crimes. In 2014 he pleaded guilty on two counts of statutory
rape in Loudon County.
He was later disbarred by the Tennessee Supreme
Court.
